Who we are
ECL (Essex Cares Limited) aims to make a positive difference to people’s quality of life by enabling them to be as independent as possible.
ECL’s services support older people; adults with learning disabilities and/or autism; adults needing reablement services following a spell of ill health, surgery or an accident; and people with sensory needs.
Our services
Inclusive Employment
ECL’s highly successful Inclusive Employment programme has transformed the lives of hundreds of people with learning disabilities and/or autism in Essex, by supporting them to secure paid employment.
Short-term home care
Our short-term home care service operates in Essex, London and West Sussex and is here to provide you with the support you need to regain confidence and independence in your own home following a spell of ill health, surgery or an accident.
Dementia support
We support the senior community and their families through a network of day centres across the whole of Essex.
Learning disabilities and autism support
With centres across Essex, we provide a nurturing environment where you can meet new people, learn new skills and try new things.
Older people
We understand that as you get older you may need additional support but maintaining your independence and integration with the community is vital.
Sight and hearing support
Supporting people who have a sight loss, hearing loss or combined sight and hearing loss.
